Capacity & compatibility
StoreFlow is production-ready for documented supported use cases. Current guidance assumes low-to-moderate traffic and limited concurrent merchant activity.
What affects capacity
Catalog shape, storefront traffic, rule count, theme complexity, installed apps, Shopify API and app-proxy availability, network conditions, and concurrent requests can all affect performance.
Current validation status
Concurrent merchant load, sustained high request volume, and enterprise workloads have not been fully benchmarked. StoreFlow does not currently offer a fixed concurrent-user commitment, guaranteed throughput, guaranteed response time, guaranteed uptime, or formal SLA.
Theme and app compatibility
Shopify Online Store 2.0 is the recommended environment, with Dawn and lightly customized themes preferred. Custom carts, third-party purchase controls, wholesale apps, and checkout customizations may require separate testing.
Cart and Shopify Checkout boundary
On supported cart pages, StoreFlow can display warnings, block StoreFlow-managed checkout controls, and hide the cart accelerated-checkout container while applicable Minimum Order or MOQ requirements fail. Shopify-hosted Checkout is separate from the Theme App Extension; StoreFlow relies on Shopify Cart and Checkout Validation for server-side enforcement there rather than theme code that hides express-payment UI.
Contact support before production reliance
High-volume merchants, larger configurations, custom themes, complex integrations, headless storefronts, or businesses requiring formal capacity commitments should request a separate evaluation.
