Customer modes
Hide Prices supports four customer modes:
- Guests only
- Logged-in customers without approved tags
- All customers
- Customers with selected tags
Tag-based targeting continues to use the customer eligibility configured by the merchant.
Product scopes
- All products
- Selected products
- Selected collections
Restrictions
- Hide prices
- Hide Add to cart
- Hide Buy it now
- Block checkout
When more than one rule matches, StoreFlow combines the applicable restrictions. It does not discard matching restrictions simply because another rule is more specific.
Customer-facing message priority
Restrictions from matching rules are combined, but customer-facing message content comes from the most specific matching rule.
- Selected products
- Selected collections
- All products
When matching rules have the same specificity, the existing StoreFlow rule ordering determines which message is used.
Customer-facing content
Rules can configure:
- Hidden price text
- Guest message
- Unapproved customer message
- Login button label
- Contact button label
- Contact URL
Hidden price text can be shown on product cards, product pages, and Quick Order. If hidden price text is left blank, StoreFlow can hide the numeric price without displaying replacement text.
Test customer access
Test Guests only, logged-in customers without approved tags, All customers, and selected-tag scenarios that you configure. Verify product cards, product pages, collections, Quick Order, cart pages, cart drawers, Add to cart, Buy it now, and checkout behavior where applicable.
Repeat testing after theme, app, product-scope, customer-tag, or checkout changes.
Compatibility and rule guidance
StoreFlow is designed for supported Shopify Online Store 2.0 themes, with Dawn and lightly customized themes preferred. Theme-specific price elements and third-party purchasing controls may require compatibility testing.
Up to 25 active Hide Price rules are within the current recommended operating range. Larger rule libraries require additional validation.
StoreFlow does not guarantee absolute hiding of every custom or third-party price element.
