Quick Order
Give wholesale customers a faster way to search, filter, enter quantities, keep selections across pages, and add selected variants to the cart.
Configure Quick Order
1. Choose products to show
Choose All active products, Selected collections, or Selected products.
2. Choose what customers see
Configure the product information shown in the Quick Order table.
3. Set ordering defaults
Choose the merchant default rows per page and default quantity.
4. Add Quick Order to storefront
Add the StoreFlow Quick Order app block and configure its launcher in the Shopify Theme Editor.
5. Review
Confirm the setting, operational status, product source, display choices, and defaults.
6. Save
Save the configuration and verify the storefront experience.
Product source
Quick Order uses one product source at a time:
- All active products
- Selected collections
- Selected products
Product sources are mutually exclusive and do not merge.
StoreFlow does not automatically fall back to All active products. For example, if Selected collections is the current source and the final collection is removed, Selected collections remains the configured source and Quick Order becomes Not active until a valid source selection is configured.
Setting and operational status
Enabled and Active are not the same status.
- Setting: Enabled or Disabled.
- Operational status: Active, Not active, or Disabled.
- Product source: Active, Configured · Not active, Not configured, or Feature disabled.
Storefront capabilities
- Search, collection filtering, and availability filtering.
- Product image, SKU, price, and quantity controls.
- Cross-page quantity selection and accumulated selected item counts.
- Add selected items across multiple pages.
- Success state without automatically redirecting to the cart.
- View cart action after adding selected items.
- Customer-selectable rows per page: 10, 25, 50, or 100.
- Merchant-configured default rows per page and default quantity.
- Inventory-aware quantity validation for tracked inventory with DENY behavior.
- CONTINUE selling behavior remains available when Shopify allows overselling.
- Untracked inventory is not artificially capped by StoreFlow.
- Existing cart quantity is considered where available; Shopify cart validation remains the final inventory authority.
- Desktop product-thumbnail hover preview.
- Page X of Y and total-variant information where an exact count is available.
- A safe “Variant total unavailable” fallback for large or slow catalog-count requests.
Rows per page
Merchants configure the default rows per page. Customers can then choose 10, 25, 50, or 100 rows per page on the storefront.
The storefront does not provide an “All rows” option.
Quick Order app block and launcher
Add the StoreFlow Quick Order app block through the Shopify Theme Editor. No Theme Liquid modification is required for the documented setup.
Launcher placement supports:
- Inline section
- Floating card
The floating card stays positioned relative to the browser viewport while the page scrolls. Current positions include Top left, Top right, Bottom left, and Bottom right.
Theme Editor settings also include horizontal distance, vertical distance, floating-card width, mobile behavior, Show close button, and Remember when closed.
Recommended operating range
- Recommended up to 1,000 active variants.
- Recommended up to 50 selected products.
- Recommended up to 20 selected collections.
These are current operating recommendations, not guaranteed technical maximums. Larger catalogs, high traffic, or high concurrency may require additional validation.
Verify the storefront
Test each product source, search and filters, customer-selected rows per page, cross-page selections, default quantities, inventory limits, add-selected behavior, View cart, the launcher, and price visibility with the active theme and installed apps.
