StoreFlow Variant Discovery Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how StoreFlow Variant Discovery (“the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) processes information when a Shopify merchant installs or uses the App, this website, documentation, or support services.

2. Information processed

Depending on use of the App, we may process Shopify shop identifiers and installation details; authentication and session information needed to operate the embedded App; merchant-created presentation themes and settings; Product and Collection identifiers selected as application targets; and catalog information reasonably needed to identify product options and present configured storefront controls.

We may also process information voluntarily supplied in support requests, including store URLs, affected storefront URLs, theme details, screenshots, recordings, error messages, and issue descriptions.

3. Information not intentionally collected

StoreFlow Variant Discovery does not intentionally collect customer payment-card numbers, banking credentials, Shopify passwords, or customer account passwords. The App is not designed to modify or maintain merchant inventory, SKUs, Shopify Admin prices, or customer payment information.

4. How information is used

Information is used to authenticate the merchant, save and apply merchant-configured presentation settings, identify relevant Products and Collections, provide storefront functionality, maintain security and reliability, diagnose errors, respond to support requests, and comply with Shopify requirements or applicable law.

5. Service providers and Shopify

The App depends on Shopify services, APIs, theme app extensions, billing, and authentication. Shopify processes information under its own terms and privacy policies. We may use hosting and infrastructure providers to operate the App and website, subject to appropriate contractual and security controls.

6. Logs, cookies, and analytics

Technical logs may be processed when reasonably necessary for security, authentication, troubleshooting, and service reliability. The embedded App may use cookies or similar technologies required for authenticated sessions and Shopify platform operation. We do not use App data for independent customer advertising profiles.

7. Disclosure and sale

We do not sell merchant or customer personal information. Information may be disclosed to service providers supporting App operation, when required by Shopify, to comply with law, or when reasonably necessary to protect the service, merchants, or others.

8. Retention and deletion

Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security or business records, resolve disputes, or meet legal and Shopify obligations. Retention varies by information type. Valid access or deletion requests will be handled subject to identity verification, applicable law, Shopify requirements, and lawful retention obligations.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information processed. No internet transmission, software service, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed completely secure or uninterrupted.

10. Merchant responsibilities

Merchants are responsible for protecting Shopify credentials, limiting staff access, configuring the App correctly, testing storefront behavior, and providing any notices or consents required for their own businesses and customers.

11. Changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the App, service providers, Shopify requirements, or applicable law. The revised version will be posted with an updated date.
