StoreFlow Variant Discovery Terms of Service

Last updated: August 12, 2026

Legal review recommended

These Terms describe the intended commercial framework and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before final publication.

1. Agreement and account authority

These Terms govern access to and use of StoreFlow Variant Discovery. By installing or using the App, you represent that you have authority to act for the Shopify merchant and agree to these Terms.

2. Service description

StoreFlow Variant Discovery helps merchants configure how supported product options are presented on Shopify storefronts through image swatches, color swatches, text buttons, dropdowns, and related presentation controls. Features and supported surfaces may change as the App develops.

StoreFlow Variant Discovery synchronizes variant selections with supported theme controls. It does not replace Shopify checkout or the theme’s product forms, native purchasing controls, cart, or checkout in the current public version.

3. Subscription, trial, and billing

The current plan is $3.99 USD per month with a 7-day free trial. Prices, billing intervals, trial eligibility, taxes, and subscription approval are presented through Shopify billing. Shopify may process charges, credits, taxes, and billing adjustments under its own systems and terms.

You may cancel by uninstalling the App, subject to applicable Shopify billing terms. Unless required by law, charges already incurred are generally non-refundable. Verified duplicate charges, billing errors, or material service issues may be reviewed individually.

4. Merchant configuration and testing

You are responsible for enabling the correct Theme App Embed, configuring presentation themes and application targets accurately, and testing the App with your theme, products, collections, variant options, product forms, product cards, native purchasing behavior, browsers, devices, and installed apps before production use.

Testing should be repeated after theme updates, theme replacement, significant customization, Shopify platform changes, and installation or update of other variant-related apps.

5. Compatibility and fallback

StoreFlow Variant Discovery has been validated with supported Dawn and Horizon theme structures on standard Product Pages, initial Collection Product Grids, and standard Featured collection sections. Compatibility depends on theme version, markup, variant lifecycle, custom code, third-party apps, product data, and Shopify changes. Compatibility outside the documented validated structures is not guaranteed.

Unsupported or unconfirmed structures are intended to retain the theme’s native presentation whenever possible, but no fallback can be guaranteed under every environment or conflict. Review the Compatibility & Limitations page and test your storefront before production use.

6. Shopify and third-party dependencies

The App depends on Shopify services, APIs, themes, billing, authentication, browsers, networks, and third-party systems that we do not control. Changes, interruptions, incompatibilities, or failures in those systems may affect the App.

7. Support

Standard support covers reasonable troubleshooting for documented features and validated structures. It does not include an SLA, emergency response, custom theme development, headless implementation, third-party code changes, or guaranteed resolution. Current support timing and scope are described on the Support page.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use the App to violate law, Shopify policies, another person’s rights, or the security or integrity of any system. You may not bypass access controls, interfere with the service, introduce malicious code, or use information you are not authorized to process.

9. Service changes and availability

We may modify, limit, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain security, compatibility, service stability, Shopify compliance, or product viability. Where reasonably practical, notice will be provided for material changes. The App does not include guaranteed uptime, error-free operation, compatibility, response time, or a formal service-level agreement.

10. No business-results guarantee

The App does not guarantee increased conversion, sales, revenue, search ranking, customer satisfaction, or other business results. Merchants remain responsible for product information, merchandising, pricing, availability, customer communications, and storefront decisions.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, StoreFlow Variant Discovery is provided “as is” and “as available,” and implied warranties are disclaimed to the extent they may lawfully be disclaimed. Nothing excludes warranties or rights that applicable law does not permit to be excluded.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, sales, goodwill, data, or business opportunities arising from use of the App. Any binding aggregate liability cap and required exceptions should be confirmed through final legal review.

13. Suspension and termination

Access may be suspended or terminated when reasonably necessary to address nonpayment, unlawful activity, abuse, material violations, Shopify requirements, or security and service-stability risks. You may stop using the App and uninstall it at any time, subject to applicable billing terms.

14. Privacy

Information processing is described in the StoreFlow Variant Discovery Privacy Policy.

15. Governing terms and changes

Governing law, jurisdiction, dispute resolution, indemnification, notice procedures, and any binding liability cap require final professional legal review. Revised Terms will be posted with an updated date, and material changes will be communicated where reasonably practical.
